Working Together to Build Business

The question "What will you do for me?" is a recurring question heard by pretty much anyone involved with a Chamber of Commerce.

The question to ask should instead be "What can I do to participate with the Chamber?" Participation is the key to a strong community. And in turn a strong community strengthens businesses in the community.

An active Chamber in your community makes things happen. Not all will propel your business to a new level of corporate utopia, but many will create steps for you to get there. Whether you take advantage of the business to business networking or all behind the scenes work (government lobbying, member discounts, strategic planning) the Chamber can help you gain more from your business investment. But the Chamber can only be as strong as the many voices it represents.

You can Help to Build a Strong Chamber in Your Community

Your involvement does not have to translate to a major time commitment. Simple responses to a member survey will often be enough to decide how a community stands on important issues. The Chamber needs your voice to properly represent you and your business investments.
